A national level athlete at the age of 15 and qualified as a personal trainer at the age of 21, Lauren is a fitness fanatic with a distinguished background in a wide range of individual and team sports. Born and raised in Minnesota, Lauren competed in figure skating as a junior at national level before switching to basketball and volleyball at college, going on to represent both the University of Miami and University of Minnesota’s volleyball teams. Lauren began weight lifting at the age of 15 receiving high level instruction from two NPC Bodybuilders; six year later, she also began competing in bodybuilding.

Since moving to China, Lauren started competing in Crossfit qualifying for the 2015 Crossfit Asia Championships where she set a record score in the competition’s final event. She has also fought in Asia’s White Collar boxing circuit.

Lauren holds degrees in Economics and Chinese from the University of Minnesota and a personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She is fluent in Mandarin.
